Heartcatch Precure! Anime Film to Open on October 30

On Saturday, the Japanese studio Toei Animation has launched a website to confirm the October 30 opening of the Heartcatch Precure! film with a 30-second streaming video. The Heartcatch Precure! revamp of the Pretty Cure! (Precure!) magical girl anime franchise premiered on Japanese television on February 7 with voice actresses Nana Mizuki and Fumie Mizusawa as Cure Blossom and Cure Marine, respectively.
The previous Pretty Cure! television anime series, Fresh Precure!, also spawned a film spinoff (Fresh Precure! Omocha no Kuni wa Himitsu ga Ippai!?) that opened on October 31, 2009. The latest Precure! film, Precure All Stars DX2: Kibō no Hikari— Rainbow Jewel o Mamore! (Precure All Stars DX2: Light of Hope— Protect the Rainbow Jewel!), just opened in Japan on Saturday. Precure All Stars DX2 features not just the cast of Heartcatch Precure!, but all 17 cure soldiers from all seven Pretty Cure television series.
